Various cultural and musical events liven up the castle, inviting visitors to look into its past, or out into the world. Events are concentrated in the warm part of the year, but there is always something special going on for public and religious holidays.

The Middle Ages

Bled Castle, governed by count Lambergar, is a lovely place, bustling with guests and cheerful atmosphere. The count likes to host other noblemen and knights from near and far.

Themed events

On Easter Sunday, children rush to the castle for the Easter Egg Hunt, on Halloween they search its rooms for ghosts, or take a walk in the company of fairytale characters. St. Martin's Feast in November is an ethnological event and  an ideal opportunity to taste Slovenian wines.

In the evening hours, the upper courtyard, right in front of the museum, turns into a concert venue under the stars. Its stage comes to life with the sound of classical and world music at the traditional events Festival Bled and Festival Okarina.

Every month, the Knights’ Hall welcomes young musicians who are perfecting their musical knowledge and skills at the Do Re Mi Musical Centre.
