Medieval Days at Bled Castle offer visitors an exceptional opportunity to discover the rich history of the Middle Ages, knightly traditions, and courtly life.

Medieval Days at Bled Castle is a traditional event for all generations, hosted by Bled Culture Institute. Its 17th edition wil take place between 31 May and 1 June 2025. Visitors will enjoy this year's exciting program featuring performances by medieval groups on the castle courtyards, a bustling arts & crafts market in the parking area, and a medieval camp in the castle park. The journey back to the Middle Ages will begin with exciting events on 25 May.
Medieval camp for families as a prelude to 17th Medieval Days at Bled Castle
On Sunday, 25 May, the grassed terraces of the castle park will transform into a scene of fun knightly challenges, a variety of workshops for children, and a display of the life of knights and their ladies. All members of the family can partake in these challenges.
The medieval camp for families, set up in the castle park, is an experience for children and adults alike where they can try out fun outdoor challenges under the careful guidance of costumed animators. Come and join us in the castle park, between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m.! The entry is free.
At 11 a.m. you can also take a look at performances of medieval groups on the upper courtyard of the castle. Alongside the local Sir Gašper Lambergar Theatre Group, groups from Slovenia and Croatia will also grace the stage.
An entry fee applies for admission to Bled Castle.
Medieval camp in Bled Castle park from 26 to 30 May 2025
During the week-long medieval camp set up in the castle park, knights, led by the bravest among them Sir Gašper Lambergar, Lord of Bled Castle at the time, will demonstrate and teach various knightly skills to children. Meanwhile, ladies of the castle will teach anyone eager to dance some medieval dance moves. The castle park camp will be open every day between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. Admission id free!

17TH MEDIEVAL DAYS AT BLED CASTLE
The climax of the medieval events at Bled Castle will be on Saturday, May 31st, and Sunday, June 1st.
The highlight of the medieval-themed activities at Bled Castle will happen on Saturday, 31 May and Sunday 1 June. The Bled Culture Institute has prepared a diverse weekend programme with performances of medieval groups at the castle, a rich arts and crafts fair in the car park, and a medieval camp in the gardens below it. The scene of the 17th Medieval Days at Bled Castle will be brimming with Slovene and foreign medieval groups, craftsmen, and musicians.
On Saturday and Sunday the program will be held between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m.
Entrance to the venues in the castle park and parking lot is free, but an admission fee is charged upon entrance to the castle.
As an increased number of visitors is expected on that day, we recommend purchasing tickets for entry to the castle through the Bled Castle website. Shuttle transport will be provided from the Bled Castle 2 parking area."
