A visit to Bled Castle and the castle park can be combined with a pleasant walk or bike ride. Numerous walking trails lead to us, from Rikli’s path, the path from Slovenski trg, to the trail across Višce.

The exhibition, entitled Huberto Široka – Silversmith and Jewellery Maker, presents a selection of works spanning his creative career of over four decades. Visitors will be able to view a diverse collection of original jewellery pieces, encompassing various artistic cycles created between 1985 and 2025.

The exhibition will be on display until 31 August in the gallery space above the Bled Castle museum.

A monograph bearing the same title will be published alongside the exhibition. A discussion with the artist and the authors of the monograph will take place on Monday, 4 August at 18:00 in the Knight’s Hall at Bled Castle. The discussion will feature Huberto Široka, the exhibiting artist; Dr. Petra Bole, the author of the artistic analysis; Lidija Pavlovčič, the author of the biography; and Andreja Završnik, responsible for the graphic design of the monograph and acts as coordinator of the Faces of Bled project and Roscoe Žerovec, macro photography.

Faces of Bled, which has evolved from the November Opus of the Bled Culture Institute, continues with this latest exhibition and the accompanying monograph – now the fifth in the series – as a major cultural initiative that uses personal stories and artistic expressions to strengthen the reputation of Bled as a place of art, heritage and inspiration.
