During the summer months, Bled Castle is hosting the exhibition Minimal Living in the Mountains, which presents the award-winning projects of the Abitare minimo in montagna architectural initiative, selected as part of the Festival all’insù (Valle Camonica, Italy).
The exhibition offers an insight into contemporary architecture in the higher regions of Italy and provides inspiration for sustainable renovation and coexistence with the mountain environment.
The projects presented were selected for the Abitare minimo in montagna award as part of the Festival all'insù (Valle Camonica, April 4-12). The initiative highlights contemporary architectural approaches in higher-altitude, lesser-known areas of Italy and opens up a space for dialogue between heritage and innovation.
The festival, which is part of the multi-year Vione laboratorio permanente project, promotes the sustainable renovation of rural areas and the revitalization of local communities. Valle Camonica is thus becoming a reference point for contemporary architecture in the Alpine region.
The exhibition is organized by the Comunità Montana di Valle Camonica. It was created in collaboration with the Architecture Festival, under the patronage of the Directorate-General for Contemporary Creativity of the Italian Ministry of Culture.
The guest exhibition Minimalist Living in the Mountains it´s on display at the Stolp Gallery from July 1 to August 31, 2025.
