Every year, the Bled Culture Institute traditionally publishes a calendar for the coming year, featuring motifs of Bled.
The Bled Calendar 2026 is a carefully designed artistic creation and an excellent blend of original works by creators from the Bled area. It presents local stories with an artistic touch and the inspiring nature from the foothills of the Julian Alps.
To accompany the release of the calendar, the Institute for Culture is also preparing an exhibition of the same name, where the creators of this year’s calendar will be presented. Photographers Benjamin Črv, Franci Ferjan, Jošt Gantar, Jani Kolman, Aleš Krivec, Mirko Kunšič, and Miro Zalokar responded to the invitation to collaborate with their photographs of Bled and its surroundings. The calendar also features a selected series of works by academic painter Ejti Štih, who will also be presented next year within the cultural project Faces of Bled. The calendar was conceived and designed by Andreja Završnik.
The exhibition Bled Calendar 2026 will be on view from October 2, 2025, to January 4, 2026, in the Bitenec Hall (the hall above the museum), open daily during the castle’s opening hours.
The Bled Calendar 2026 will be released on October 2 and will be available for purchase via the Bled Castle website (pickup at the castle ticket office or by post), at the castle ticket office, or at TIC Bled. The price is 16 euros.
