Medieval Days at Bled Castle are a traditional event organized by the Institute for Culture Bled for all generations. The 18th edition will take place from May 31 to June 7.
Sunday, May 31 (10:00 AM–5:00 PM)
Join us for a medieval challenge—an experience for the whole family.
The castle park will transform into a true medieval setting, filled with fun challenges, knightly trials, and creative workshops. Step into the past through a playful and educational experience guided by costumed animators. Try your hand at medieval skills such as archery, take part in games and workshops, and collect points for completed tasks—the top three participants will receive prizes. The competition will run from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
This will be followed by the announcement of results and performances by medieval groups.
Admission to the event is free.
At 10:00 AM, you can also watch dynamic performances by medieval groups on the upper castle terrace (castle admission ticket required).
Monday, June 1 – Friday, June 5 (10:00 AM–6:00 PM)
A Medieval Camp will be set up in the castle park. Visitors can step back in time, try out knightly skills, explore historical weapons and equipment, and enjoy the company of medieval characters.
Saturday, June 6 & Sunday, June 7
The main program follows, featuring performances by Slovenian and international medieval groups, musical acts, a medieval market, workshops, and interactive challenges throughout the venue.
A detailed program will be announced in the coming days.
Experience the Middle Ages in your own way.
