The Story of Potica – At the Festive Table,

on Thursday, 11 December 2025, at 17:00, at Bled Castle.

The event begins at the STOLP Gallery, where we will explore an exhibition that connects two seemingly different, yet fundamentally connected, activities — pottery and potica-baking. Both celebrate patience, precision, and respect for the material, as well as the time they require to reach perfection.

From the gallery, we will proceed to the Knights' Hall for the exhibition opening, accompanied by a cultural program. Our key speakers include:

  • Lea Ferjan, Director of the Bled Culture Institute,
  • Culinary master Sonja Jezeršek,
  • Renowned Slovenian ethnologist Dr. Janez Bogataj,
  • Artistic duo Barba Štembergar Zupan and Niko Zupan from Zavod V-oglje,
  • Master chocolatier Maks Pogačnik from Molinet House of Chocolate.
