A visit to Bled Castle and the castle park can be combined with a pleasant walk or bike ride. Numerous walking trails lead to us, from Rikli’s path, the path from Slovenski trg, to the trail across Višce.

We celebrate "Ta veseli dan kulture" (This Happy Day of Culture) every year on the birthday of Slovenia’s greatest poet, France Prešeren. On this day, numerous cultural institutions across the country invite visitors to enjoy free cultural events – and Bled Castle will be no exception.

On Wednesday, 3 December 2025, at 4:30 p.m., we invite all lovers of culture, history, and the festive season to join us for a free guided tour of Bled Castle. Participants will be able to explore the castle museum and visit the thematic exhibition The Story of Potica – At the Festive Table, which showcases the rich culinary and cultural heritage of Slovenia. The castle premises will already be dressed in festive décor, adding a special warmth and charm to the event.

After the tour, a small festive treat will await you – fragrant mini poticas and tea or mulled wine, with which we will raise a toast to culture and the upcoming holidays.
