Opening of the exhibition Legend of Veronika of Desinić
We invite you to the opening of the exhibition The Legend of Veronica of Desinić, which will take place on Saturday, April 11, 2026, at 11 am in the Knights' Hall at Bled Castle.
The exhibition, which will be on display in the Bitenc Room, introduces visitors to the historical background of the lives of Veronica and Frederick II of Celje and the way in which their story developed from a historical event into a legend over the centuries. It also presents artistic interpretations, historical sources and cultural heritage associated with Veliki Tabor Castle.
The exhibition The Legend of Veronica of Desinić was created in cooperation between the Bled Cultural Institute and the Museums of Croatian Zagorje.
