INTERWEAVING OF SCIENCE AND PLAY
Interactive exploration of natural phenomena
In the round tower of Bled Castle lies the Room of Experiments – a space where history intertwines with science and play. In collaboration with the House of Experiments and Dr. Nika Leben, the Bled Culture Institute has transformed the former lookout room into an interactive experience primarily intended for families with children. Through hands-on experiments, visitors discover the stories of Bled Castle, Lake Bled, and surrounding legends in a fun and educational way.

FROM THEORY TO PRACTICE
What can you experience?
In the Room of Experiments, theory turns into practice. At five different stations, the secrets of the castle and its surroundings are revealed through play:
- The Mouse Has Escaped
- Bottomless Hole
- Invisible Air Vents
- Wall of Ghosts
- Stubborn Little Boat
Each experiment offers insight into basic scientific principles in a fun and understandable way, creating an unforgettable experience for visitors of all ages.

Explore and have fun
The Room of Experiments is open during Bled Castle’s operating hours. It is intended for all curious minds – families, individuals, and school groups – who wish to explore through observation and hands-on experience. Each experiment is designed to offer an unforgettable experience and a chance to discover science in a fun way.
You are warmly invited to uncover the secrets hidden within Bled Castle together with your little ones!
