The Easter Egg Hunt is a traditional treasure hunt type game that takes place at Bled Castle every year during the Easter holiday season. Children search for unique wooden eggs hidden around the castle, and are rewarded for their finds with prizes contributed by local businesses, public institutions, and craftsmen.
Before the game starts, children receive detailed instructions for the hunt. Each numbered egg brings a prize to the lucky finder, and each player can only collect one egg. The game is over when the last egg has been found.
Easter hens and treats made by the castle chefs add to the fun and delicious Easter vibe.
Adults will be able to join the fun by taking part in various Easter challenges such as horseradish grating and egg tapping, while younger participants will test their egg rolling skills or decorate an Easter egg of their choice.
Easter Egg Hunt participants are invited to gather at the fountain on the castle’s lower courtyard at 11:00. The participants are asked to wait for the signal to start and to follow the rules of the game, which will be provided at the beginning. Admission to the event is included with the castle entry ticket. As increased attendance is expected on that day, you can purchase tickets
here and avoid the crowds at the ticket office.
