Bled Castle,
2025 Bled Calendar
Every year, the Bled Culture Institute traditionally publishes a paper wall calendar for the coming year, featuring motifs of Bled. There is a variety of digital time organisers available today, but many people are still fascinated by the classical wall calendar, particularly when the days and months, as well as holidays, moons and similar information, are accompanied by carefully selected photographs.
The 2025 Bled Calendar is an artfully designed and outstanding blend of the works of art created by local artists. It portrays local stories as viewed through an artistic lens and the stunning nature at the foothills of the Julian Alps.
The 2025 Bled Calendar will be published on 1 October, and an exhibition of the photographs and a presentation of their authors will be on display in the room above the museum. Jošt Gantar, Aleš Krivec, Mirko Kunšič and Miro Zalokar are the photographers who have gracefully submitted their photographs of Bled and its surroundings to be featured in the calendar. Huberto Široka, an artisan and designer, presents the timeless artistry of his products. The works of ‘Huberto from Bled’ were captured by Roscoe Žerovec in the artist’s charming workshop that is a hit with visiting tourists. The calendar was conceived and designed by Andreja Završnik, Bled Culture Institute.
The 2025 Bled Calendar exhibition will be on display from 3 October to 30 December 2024 in the exhibition space above the castle museum, during the opening hours of the castle. The opening of the Kaledar 2025 exhibition will take place on Tuesday, October 8, at 5 p.m. in the hall above the museum.
Admission to the exhibition is included in the entrance fee to Bled Castle.
