For personal vehicles (cars and motorcycles), motorhomes, and buses, there are two designated paid parking areas available. Other parking options can be checked on the list of parking areas in Bled.

The parking lot is intended for visitors to Bled Castle and users of the Festival Hall and other venues in Bled and the surrounding area. It is located below Bled Castle, near the Bled Sports Park, and is intended for personal vehicles, motorhomes, and buses.

A visit to Bled Castle can be combined with a walk along the footpath, which offers stunning views of Bled and its surroundings.

The main castle footpath begins above the Castle Bathing Area. Take a walk through the forest that covers the castle hill. Your effort climbing the well-maintained and illuminated path will be rewarded with scenic views of the lake, Bled, and the surrounding area. The path is solid, well-lit, and equipped with railings, ensuring safe access even in the evening hours.

You can reach Slovenski trg in front of St. Martin’s Church either from the Lakeside Promenade through the Spa Park or from the main bus station through the village center of the Grad settlement. The path ascends through the forest beneath the castle rock and, after a few minutes of easy walking, joins the Rikli Trail.

Arriving by bike? Great! Follow the well-marked and maintained cycling path from the center of Bled toward Pokljuka, then turn left at the sports park.

Warning: A more challenging ascent awaits you.

Parking: You can park your bikes at the racks in front of the castle walls.

Would you like a romantic carriage ride, where you can also enjoy all the sights along the way? Arrange the transport at the main station of the Bled carriage drivers on the promenade by the lake.

There are two public transport options available:

Bus lines: Check regular bus connections to Bled.
Rail connections: The nearest train station is Lesce-Bled. More information
